Artist Statement

Living and working in Jasper has allowed Brigid to take advantage of her proximity to the mountains to the fullest.  Summers and weekends are spent exploring the mountain trails, either into a backcountry campsite or to the top of a mountain. Winters are spent cross-country skiing and snowshoeing on the snowy trails, or gliding quickly down them on skis. Taking photos of her beautiful surroundings has become a passion, and she has taken advantage of all the beauty that surrounds her by getting out as often as possible to document the magnificence of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Brigid loves sharing her adventures and experiences with the people around the world.
